LaunchGood’s Giving Ecosystem wants to tackle the issue of societal disconnect. As people continue to look outside their country’s borders for better opportunities, we as an Ummah are forced to find new ways to stay dialed into the Muslim community. That is what the Giving Pool is for.

How does the Giving Pool work? Our Daily Givers and Friday Givers programs, as well as the Ramadan and Dhul Hijjah challenges, allow people around the world to automate their donations to vetted, impactful campaigns on a daily or weekly basis. Those donors pool their money together to support a family in distress, or fundraise for community relief.

In 2025 alone, LaunchGood donors banded together to donate almost $10 million to hundreds of campaigns around the world. Here’s a snapshot of just a few of the causes we supported with the Giving Pool:

  1. Emergency Relief in Gaza and Lebanon

In October 2024 alone, LaunchGood hosted 500+ campaigns fundraising for Gaza and Lebanon as a push for its Gaza One Year On plan of action and remembrance. Campaigns had the ability to harness the power of their communities to unlock Match Funds and win Leaderboards and Power Hours!

$218,000 in Giving Pool boosts were awarded to campaigns that donors all over the world felt were most important, ranging from emergency aid, food relief for orphans, and sponsoring prosthetics for Gaza’s survivors. In total, just from Leaderboards alone, the Giving Ecosystem generated over $1 million dollars in donations fundraised for Gaza and Lebanon!

  1. Team Fundraising

    The Al-Noor Dragon Boat Race
occurs annually in the UK, and in 2025 LaunchGood was the official fundraising partner for the teams that participated. Teams fundraised for a diverse group of causes, raising money for schools, Gaza, orphan support, islamic education, and more!

The Giving Ecosystem rewarded multiple fundraisers for their hard work with boosts, totalling in $16,800!

  1. MATW Project’s Ramadan Aid Fundraiser

One of the largest Match Funds awarded during Ramadan 1446 was $50,000 to MATW Project’s Peer-to-Peer fundraiser, where they turned their active community into their own micro-ambassadors. Donors galvanized their own social networks, and together, they raised more than $600,000, far surpassing their goal and unlocking the Giving Pool boost!

  1. Creating Prayer Spaces Around the World

From the lakes of the UK to its highest elevations, the Giving Ecosystem has supported causes everywhere, including the building of a prayer space on Mount Snowdon by the Muslim Sports Foundation.

While still in progress, the Muslim Sports Foundation recognizes the beauty of making salah in nature, and wants to create accessibility for adventurers to be able to take a moment to reconnect with Allah’s creations.

  1. Supporting Children with Special Needs

During Ramadan, MIJ Hub fundraised for their school and vocational training programs for children and young adults with special needs. They recognized that this community was underserved, and through transparency and communication, they got the word out about their campaign and met their Match Fund goal, unlocking a $20,000 boost!

  1. Islamic Education for Youth and Young Adults

It is up to the Ummah to ensure that today’s youth have access to Islamic education, and Darul Wahi in Detroit, US have done their best by starting a scholarship fund for their school.

Starting as a weekend school to now offering full-time educational programming, Darul Wahi wanted to open doors and make sure Muslim kids and young adults in their community had somewhere safe to be. To support their scholarship fund and reward the community for coming together to open doors for Islamic education, they were awarded a $10,000 boost from the Giving Pool!

  1. Honouring Loved Ones with Sadaqah Jaariyah Campaigns

When beloved members of our communities pass, it can be difficult to decide on how to honour these people best. LaunchGood has been the go-to platform for Sadaqah Jaariyah campaigns in the names of the people we’ve loved the most.

Upon his passing, Azafor Miah’s community rallied to build a mosque in Uganda in his name. Alhumdulilah, with the Giving Pool boost, they were able to reach their fundraising target. May Allah reward the efforts of brother Azafor Miah and his loving community.

  1. Social Justice and Advocacy

When a member of the Ummah is struggling, we can all feel it. The Muslim Legal Fund of America works hard to right the wrongs that Muslims experience daily.

When Marwan Marouf was detained on the basis of his immigration status, the Muslim Legal Fund of America jumped in to defend him pro bono. But they were not alone— Marwan’s community contributed thousands of dollars on LaunchGood to fund his fight for freedom, and unlocked a significant boost from the Giving Pool.

  1. Building Water Wells

Water is life, and Droplets of Mercy UK have dedicated themselves to creating access to clean, filtered drinking water across the world.

For this project, Droplets of Mercy UK made it their mission to work with local communities to set up solar and electrical water wells across Kenya and Uganda. And Alhumdulilah, with the help of their community, were able to unlock Giving Pool funds to help them in their journey.

Giving Pool Boost: $13,000

While these fundraisers are all different in their causes, they all share a common theme: resilience. The global Muslim community deserves to survive and thrive, and Alhumdulilah LaunchGood donors are dedicated to making it happen.
